Crazy people – 1990

Emory works in advertising. There comes a time when he gets fed up with writing dishonest ad copy and decides to tell the truth coming up with the following slogan: “Volvos: they are boxy but they’re safe.” His boss is so incensed by the unorthodox ads that he not only fires Emory, but also has him committed. The sanitarium to which Emory is sent becomes his source of inspiration. Back to the office, he creates a lot of successful ads. It seems that weird places can be inspirational for those in need.

Man of the year – 2006

This movie is actually a case study about successful political campaigns. Man of the year breaks the politician man stereotype, that one with boring speeches, you know what I am talking about, right? Robin Williams is the main character who manages to transform every political debate in a funny show. It’s a must see movie, especially politics are one of your interest fields and you would like to organise political campaigns soon.

If you are passionate about both advertising and Sci-fi, this movie is a must. Science Fiction, brands that get crazy to conquer the world and the people’s minds, conspiracy, there are only a few of the aspects that summarizes the action of the movie.
